Grammar and Conversation

* O Pronome sujeito ( subject pronoun ) normalmente inicia a frase e quase sempre vem acompanhado de um verbo .

Ex: I like/you study/he goes/she washes/it works ...

* O pronome objeto (object pronoun ) é utilizado no final de uma frase para indicar a pessoa.

Ex: I don't like her/ She doesn't like me/ He speaks with them/ They speak with him

# Utilizamos os pronomes sujeito para conjugar verbos em Inglês. Nas frases afirmativas do tempo presente,  a conjugação verbal sofre uma ligeira alteração na terceira pessoa do singular ( he/she/it ).

# Em todos os outros pronomes o verbo não sofre alteração nenhuma.

# Eis aqui a regra da terceira pessoa do singular:

A- Os verbos com terminação em ( ss/o/x/sh/ch ) recebem ES

* to go = I go/He goes
* to wash = We wash/She washes
* to fix = They fix /It fixes
* to watch = You watch/He watches
* to pass = I pass/ He passes

B- Os verbos terminados em Y precedidos por consoante perdem o "y" e recebem "ies"

* to try = I try / She tries
* to dry = They dry / He dries

C- Para todos os outros verbos apenas acrescentamos S .

* to speak = We speak / He speaks
* to buy = They buy / She buys
* to need = You need / He needs
* to say = I say /She says
